Care Packages
A breast cancer diagnosis can feel isolating and overwhelming. Team Michelle's Care Package program exists to remind every patient that they are seen, loved, and not alone. We ship free comfort packages directly to patients across the country throughout their treatment journey.
Each package is filled with items chosen to bring warmth and encouragement — because we know that a positive mental state helps improve overall health outcomes, and simply knowing someone is thinking of you can make all the difference.
"We received your care package today and I just want to say a huge THANK YOU! This made my week!"
— Angela, Care Package Recipient

Research Grants
Funding cutting-edge breast cancer research is a major pillar of Team Michelle's mission. Since 2018 we have directly funded six research projects at two leading cancer centers, committing over $560,000 toward discoveries that could change — and save — lives.
We focus on metastatic breast cancer research, supporting labs working to understand how cancer cells evade the body's defenses and how new therapies can stop them. Every dollar raised goes toward science with real potential to end this disease.
"We're really excited about our new partnership and really grateful for your support! We have already begun the first phase of studies and look forward to sharing some news with you soon!"
— Lawson Lab, University of California–Irvine
Research Program
Our Research Partners
The Lawson Lab focuses on metastatic dormancy in breast cancer — researching how cancer cells hide in the body and how to prevent relapse. Team Michelle has awarded $170,000+ to this lab since 2018.
UC Irvine — Dr. Devon Lawson
University of Kansas — Dr. Shane Steklein
Dr. Steklein's lab researches immunotherapy for triple-negative breast cancer — identifying which patients will benefit and understanding resistance mechanisms. Team Michelle awarded $40,000 to this research.

Acts of Love
A breast cancer diagnosis doesn't just take a toll physically — it creates financial hardship that insurance often doesn't cover. Acts of Love provides grants of up to $1,000 to breast cancer patients and survivors to help with the real costs of treatment.
Launched in 2017, Acts of Love has supported 90+ recipients with grants covering medical bills, rent and housing, prescriptions, childcare, transportation, wigs, reconstructive surgery costs, and more. Applications are reviewed monthly.
"It meant so much that strangers would choose to support our family and give love during a time that felt so isolating."
— Sheila, on behalf of her mother and recipient Marg
